Magic Things

The world is full of magic things...patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper. -W.B Yeats

Magic Things is series botanical prints inspired by Yeats, travel/wanderlust, duality, universality, AI and yoga. How do all these things relate? They are universally given to to all of us; illuminating the wonderus creative powers of nature and technology. The magic things of the earth like scarab beetles and iridescent butterfly wings highlight both the profound diversification of the natural world and its magic. AI art, in particular, is a fascinating medium for ecological surrealist art. It is a new dialogue between man and machine; creating new worlds and forms. Art has always been a potent reminder of our shared humanity. AI is a tool, and a neutral one, we give it the charge. Magic things aims to create a positive point of reference, a meditation on "magic things" found in nature and the illusion of wonder to the magic things yet to arrive.
